Haydock Library

Inclusive Library Transformation with Bespoke Shelving

Completed and Opened, March 2026

Haydock Library was reimagined as a community-led, sensory-informed public library shaped through co-design with local residents, library staff, carers and disability organisations. Designed to support wellbeing, curiosity and belonging, the project embeds accessibility into every aspect of the building, creating a welcoming civic space where everyone feels they belong.
